Six to ten weeks is the comfortable window for a Milwaukee event. Our presses ship as freight from Fullerton and the crew flies in a day early, so shipping and your venue's load-in slot set the timeline.
A working timeline
- 10+ weeks out: best for lakefront festival season and large Baird Center shows, when hotels and dock slots fill early.
- 6 to 10 weeks: the normal window. Send the date, venue and headcount and we lock the plan and book freight.
- About 1 week out: final art is due and the blank order locks, so screens and film ship with the presses.
- Under 6 weeks: ask. It can work with simple art, standard blanks and a venue that confirms load-in quickly.
What speeds it up
Have the logo or art ready, a rough headcount, the venue and date, and the stations you want. The more you send at the start, the sooner we can proof art and confirm the booking.
Already booked and the date moves? Give us about two weeks' notice so the freight can be rebooked.

Milwaukee planning
Why Milwaukee needs the lead time
We keep no gear in Wisconsin. Every Milwaukee date starts in our Fullerton shop, 1,732 straight-line miles away, and the gear is on a truck before the crew books flights.
Venue schedules add to it. Baird Center assigns load-in on a marshalling schedule, and the lakefront festival grounds set vehicle windows, so we need both before the freight goes.
