Downtown is where Milwaukee's conventions and big meetings happen: Baird Center exhibit halls, the hotel ballrooms around them, and the theater blocks near the river. We bring DTF, a hat bar, embroidery and screen presses to those rooms and print shirts, caps and totes in front of your guests, with each guest waiting about two minutes.
Most downtown jobs are booths and receptions with a fixed floor plan. At Baird Center, electrical is ordered through the venue and load-in follows a marshalling schedule, so we lock both before the freight leaves Fullerton. A pre-show reception or a sponsor night at the Pabst Theater is a smaller build with a tighter door.
What runs well downtown
- Live screen printing: one show logo on a long run of tees for a booth.
- Live DTF: names or company codes on each shirt for a VIP list.
- Live hat bar: caps with a patch guests choose between sessions.
- Promo & hard goods: totes that carry everything else attendees collect on the floor.
Meeting outside the convention district? Historic Third Ward, Deer District, Walker's Point, Bay View, and the Lakefront are covered too. Show freight leaves Fullerton timed to the move-in window, and the printers fly in the day before to build.
A downtown station needs about 10×10 ft and two dedicated 120V/20A circuits. In a hotel ballroom, confirm the circuits aren't shared with catering.
Send the hall or hotel, the show dates and a headcount, and an itemized quote comes back within 24 hours.
