Live screen printing in Milwaukee puts presses, screens and plastisol ink on your floor, pulled by hand while the crowd watches. It's live t-shirt printing at its most classic, built for one to three colors on a long run. A Baird Center booth usually takes the two-press build; a smaller activation can run one. Screens are burned in our Fullerton shop and ride in the freight.
The kit covers everything: presses, flash dryers, ink, blanks, tables and the people to run them, set up in a downtown ballroom or out on a Deer District plaza. Our standard station pairs two presses with two printers for 100+ shirts per hour, fast enough for a lakefront festival queue.
Why screen printing for a live Milwaukee event
It's built for big, simple runs: one event design on hundreds of shirts at a festival tent or a conference booth. Put a live DTF station beside it when some guests want full-color art or their name.
Art locks about a week before a Milwaukee date, since the screens ship with the presses.
Where a press makes sense in Milwaukee
A press is one tool in our kit and a small share of the events we run. It's worth bringing when the design is one or two bold colors and the crowd is large: a sponsor tee outside Fiserv Forum, a band shirt between sets at the Pabst Theater, or a giveaway at a summer lakefront festival, where two presses and the full size run keep the wait short.
On a Baird Center floor, a one-color design printed while people watch turns passing traffic into a queue. If the art has gradients or names, a DTF table sits next to the press: the press does the main run and DTF does the detail.
