For a Milwaukee event our kit leaves the Fullerton shop as freight, the printers land in town a day before load-in, and we build a station on roughly 10×10 ft of your floor. Guests choose a garment and a design and walk off wearing it about two minutes later.
The job in four steps
- Scope. You send the date, the room and a headcount. We answer inside 24 hours with an itemized quote, and the Milwaukee travel sits on it as one fixed line.
- Art and blanks. Your art is final about a week out. We burn screens and print DTF film in Fullerton, and the garment order locks the same week.
- Freight and build. Presses, dryers and road cases ship ahead of us from Fullerton. The crew flies in the day before, meets the freight at your dock and runs test prints before doors.
- Print, then strike. The line runs through your event window. We pack down on the schedule your venue gives us.
Most rooms in the area can take it: a Baird Center exhibit hall, a hotel ballroom above the river, a Third Ward loft, a brewery in Walker's Point or a tent on the lakefront. Tell us about your event and we'll sketch the layout.
What's different about a Milwaukee date
Load-in is the part that changes most. Baird Center runs its dock on a marshalling schedule with drayage, so the freight is timed to that window. A Third Ward loft is usually a street door and a freight lift. Because the gear is already on a truck before we board, a date change needs about two weeks' notice. Summer lakefront jobs also get tent sidewalls and weights, since the wind off Lake Michigan picks up anything loose.
